Plane Crash in Key West - Review by reader from Amazon - The story may not be written by a career author, but it's his emphasis on the emotions and questions that the events of the day created in each member of the family that are the point here. Each of their lives were changed as were their perspectives on life. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not an impartial reader. That was one of the worst days of my life. I was driving on the highway in Key West that day. I watched the plane take off, saw it circle around, and was directly in the path of the descending aircraft when it banked steeply and hit the water no more than 50 yards from us. The sound it made was sickening. I believe that the pilot sacrificed the aircraft to avoid hitting us and those around us. Standing with my future wife and watching each occupant being pulled from the plane changed us too. I think about the survivor often and pray that he is doing well.
Her Last Seven Days in Key West - Review by reader from Amazon - This book of delightfully-written short stories is a great read! I felt like I was sitting in a pub with the author telling me these colorful stories of his life. A vast experience of emotions in these stories -- chill bumps about the plane crash and "what if's" that have changed their lives forever; good laughs about his hurricane experiences; and it took a whole box of Kleenex to get me through "Her Last Seven Days in Key West." Very enjoyable book!
Barnes and Noble review for Plane Crash in Key West - Enjoyed reading this short story. Although it is base upon a true story, which basically sad, the author brings light to to the end of the tunnel.
